Description
A fern that goes by a beautiful name is the Blechnum gibbum, commonly known as the 'Silver Lady Fern' or the 'Dwarf Tree Fern'. The Silver Lady is native to Fiji, New Caledonia and the Pacific Islands, grown as the understory plant in forested areas. This fern enjoys filtered light, high humidity, warm temperatures and moist but not wet soil. These plants are popular in tropical gardens and are also suitable for indoor gardens displayed in an elegant pot. Just remember if you have your Blechnum outside to guard against frost.
