The Syngonium podophyllum is the most commonly cultivated species of the Syngonium genus and is native to Latin America. Sometimes called, Arrowhead plant/vine, Arrowhead philodendron, Goosefoot, African evergreen or American evergreen. This variety, Sunshine Speckles have variegated green arrowhead-shaped leaves, marked with pale green and cream and a pinky vein. Even though the Sunshine Speckles is hardy and easy to grow, they prefer a semi-shaded position with indirect sunlight. Keep the watering consistent but do allow the top layer of soil to start to dry between waterings. As the Sunshine Speckles likes humidity, it's perfect for indoors and works well in pots, grown-up totem poles or cascading down in a hanging basket.
